Sappi offers a one-year internship opportunity for a recent BCom Human Resource Management graduate. This program provides hands-on, meaningful experience in a wide range of Human Resources functions under the guidance of skilled mentors, helping candidates transition smoothly into the professional world.
Sappi is a global diversified woodfibre company focused on providing dissolving pulp, packaging and specialty papers, graphic papers, as well as biomaterials and biochemicals to customers in more than 150 countries. Graeme Wild (52), currently Vice President Sales and Marketing at Sappi Southern Africa, has been appointed as CEO of Sappi Southern Africa as from 01 December 2024.
Responsibilities
- Prepare employment documentation for onboarding of new employees.
- Participate in shortlisting and interviewing of candidates for vacancies.
- Perform HR administration.
- Resolve human resources related enquiries brought by employees.

ideal candidate
- Grade 12/Matric qualification
- Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management
- No prior experience required
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
