The Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa (IDC) is a self-financing national development finance institution whose primary objectives are to contribute to the generation of balanced, sustainable economic growth in Africa and to the economic empowerment of South Africans, thereby promoting the economic prosperity of all citizens. It achieves this by promoting entrepreneurship through the building of competitive industries and enterprises based on sound business principles.

Submit clear Certified copies of the following supporting documentation along with your online application:
- ID document
- Grade 11 final results and Matric June results, if currently in Matric
- Matric certificate
- Latest academic results
- 2024 mid-year (first semester) results, if currently studying
- Proof of acceptance or provisional admission at a tertiary institution
- Parents or guardians ID documents
- Unabridged birth certificate, if surname of the applicant & the parent(s) is different
- Parents or guardians proof of income

To be eligible for the scheme
- Student must be 16 years and older but not older than 26 years to apply.
- must have achieved the total average of 75% and above and must be SA Citizen.
- Student must have achieved the total average of 65% and above and must be SA Citizen.
