Job Purpose
To provide compassionate, reliable, and proactive care for two children (ages 3 and 8), ensuring their safety, happiness, and development within the Silver lakes Estate. This includes managing school drop-offs and pick-ups, transporting them to activities, assisting with snack time, planning and implementing fun, educational, and stimulating activities, and fostering a positive environment that promotes their well-being and growth.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and roadworthy car
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
- First Aid Level Certificate (essential)
- Non-smoker
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick up and drop off children for school
- Transport children to extracurricular activities
- Prepare and assist with snack time after school
- Provide opportunities for physical activity, such as games and exercises to improve coordination and motor skills
- Plan and organize age-appropriate, creative activities (such as arts and crafts, puzzles, storytelling, and learning games) that are both fun and educational
- Provide full-day care during school holidays (when needed)

Other Information
- Working hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Availability for light babysitting on two weekends per month
- Must be willing to travel with the family for vacations to assist with childcare
