TSSSA Material Planning Internship (Midrand)
The Railway industry today is characterized by both a strong and sustained growth across the world. The trends that drive this are well known: environmental challenges, population growth, urbanization and increasing demands for mobility.
Purpose:
- Supply the project with materials and parts necessary to complete the maintenance of trains and projects and help achieve the customers expected OTIF.
- Uses the SAP GSI system relating to Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP)/Material Master/Transfer of Materials & purchases pre-sourced Materials.
- Responsible for the overall use of the SAP GSI system within the supply chain ensuring accuracy of the system at all times.
- Supports the businesses by ensuring the correct stocks are maintained at each location.
- Organises the data and manages the flows of goods at optimum cost and with attention to risk control and company performance improvement
Minimum Requirements:
- Supply Chain or Logistics/Engineering related Degree
- South African citizen between 18 and 35 years of age
- Excellent communicate skills in English
- MS Office literate
