AfriSam invites South African Students to apply for their bursaries, for 2024 academic year.
Closing date: 31 March 2024
AfriSam
AfriSam is a leading supplier of superior quality construction materials and technical solutions. Their cement, aggregate and ready-mix concrete construction materials have been contributing significantly to infrastructure development in Africa for 90 years.
Since establishing its first cement plant in 1934, the company has grown into a formidable group with operations in South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini.
Their name, AfriSam, stems from the word ‘Afri’, which refers to their proud African heritage and ‘Sam’ comes from the word samente or disamente, which means cement in six of South Africa’s official languages.
They are committed to building a positive African future. It is this passion and commitment that they are most proud of, not of the products they make, but rather of what their products make possible – they create concrete possibilities.
