Job Objectives
- Maintain frequent and timeous monitoring of operating systems.
- Support the team with Monitoring and executing system backups.
- Monitoring of store data interchange.
- Assist with recovery of data and disaster recovery.
- Support generator and UPS testing.
- Proactively work to support the team in the achievement of ensuring backup media is moved offsite.
- Ensure operation of network and system monitoring systems for stakeholders.
- Continuously monitoring of client’s infrastructure.
- Timeously responding to exceptions according to SLA.
- Participate in System and Server Monitoring.
- Develop an awareness of a wide spectrum of IT technologies.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities when requested.

Qualifications
- Grade 12 – (essential).
- Certificate, Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Database or a related field – (beneficial)
Experience
- Exposure to monitoring and operational tools such as SAP and Linux – (beneficial)
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 with basic Excel skills – (essential).
