NOTE : The Provincial Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure invites applications for Graduate Internship Programme opportunities that currently exist in our offices throughout the province. Unemployed South African youth (Graduates requiring workplace experience), who have never participated in any Public Service Graduate Internship programme in any government department are invited to apply. Successful Interns will be appointed for a period of 24 months commencing 01 April 2025 – 31 March 2027.

Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R7 450.62 per month in accordance to the Department of Public Service and Administration’s Directive on Employment of Persons on Developmental Programmes in the Public Service. The application must include only a completed and signed new Z83 Form, obtainable from any Public Service Department or on the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) website link: https://www.dpsa.gov.za/newsroom/psvc/ and a detailed Curriculum Vitae. Certified copies of Identity Document, Grade 12 Certificate and the required qualifications, will only be submitted by shortlisted candidates to Human Resources on or before the day of the interview date.
Failure to do so will result in your application being disqualified. Only shortlisted candidates will submit SAQA evaluation certificate. Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a Security Clearance process. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only.
