Various departments are offering both entry level jobs and professional level vacancies for suitably qualifying candidates.

Register your CV with the Department of Labour

The Department of Employment and Labour has established an ESSA system for both Jobseekers and Employers. In this article you will have clear understand on how to use the platform to benefit you as an individual and the company if you’re an entrepreneur.

You can upload your CV through the ESSA website or send via email. Whenever there is an opening that matches your skills and experience, the hiring organization will forward it to you. You can register as a work seeker for the Department of Labour by providing a few details about yourself.

  • Complete the Work-seeker Registration Form.
  • Unemployed people must complete the Jobseeker Registration Form and hand it in at their nearest labour centre.
  • Keep your personal information and contact details up to date.

Once you have captured your CV the Employment and Labour team will help to match you to potential employers.

For Organizations:

The duly authorised person acting on behalf of your organisation must register as an Individual first, and once the authorised person logs in he/she will be able to link to your organisation with your UIF reference number.

Your organisation will be able to post opportunities and receive CV’s of matched individuals based on your opportunity criteria.

Note: Currently organisation registration service is available to organisations registered with the Unemployment Insurance Fund. Extended registrations are in progress towards organisations that are not registered with the Unemployment Insurance Fund; please stay tuned for improvements.
