Job Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our graduate trainee program in The Marketing and Communications Team.
Role Summary
As a Graduate, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: shadowing professionals in the marketing team, participating in learning experiences, attending meetings and facilitating meetings to gain practical experience. Please note that you will be evaluated throughout the graduate program.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma specializing in Commerce/Communications/ Marketing/ Media studies or equivalent qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a growth mindset.
- Team player, demonstrated leadership experience is an added advantage
- Passion for events
- Interest in content creation
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and basic familiarity with Excel.
- Familiarity with basic online design tools (e.g. Canva) a bonus.
Main Responsibilities
- Assimilating information from the Marketing team members
- Participating in on-the-job training where possible
- Conducting research and assisting the Manager when necessary
- Proofreading: Make corrections and suggest edits to communications.
- Content creation for internal communication
- Coordinating logistical elements and executing events with team members.
- Managing Marketing inventory and merchandise, including stock takes, ordering and shipping.
- Budget tracking of Marketing team budget, monthly
- Additional tasks according to the department/ business unit you will belong to, to gain on the job training.
