SRD grant payment schedule for February 2024 has been released by the South African Social Security Agency. It is now confirmed that around 7 million of unemployed citizens including those without any alternative income are receiving the Social relief of Distress grant offered by Sassa These benefits plays an important roles in the lives of many residents.
SRD grant Increasing 2024 to 2025?
Will the Sassa Grand increase this year? There are Speculations that SRD may increase in 2024 or 2025, however authorities have not confirmed any increase in the Sassa grant payout.
SRD Grant Payment Schedule For February 2024
It is expected that the SRD grand will be paid on the third week of the month and the date are as follows:
February: 19 – 29 February 2024
Eligibility of receiving the SASSA SRD R350 Grand.
The following are some of the requirements that persons must meet to be eligible to receive these grants:
- Must fall between the age bracket of 18 to 60 Years.
- Be Unemployed
- Have a permanent South African residency.
- Have a monthly maximum income of R624 or less.
- Do not get any other government-sponsored social subsidies.
